Delayed Meteosat Satellite Data

Incident Report for Tomorrow.io

Resolved

We experienced delayed or missing Meteosat satellite data starting around 08:00 UTC (04:00 EDT) on 29 October 2026.

Precipitation quality was degraded on Classic and Next Gen products for Europe, Israel, India, and Global in areas without radar coverage. The Global Infrared Composite was degraded over the Meteosat footprint. Next Gen satellite precipitation inputs were also degraded. Realtime and nowcast forecasts were affected.

The data gap was later filled. Intermittent delays continued for a time after that. This incident is resolved.
